4th of July

Claire's 1st 4th of July was fun - we were in San Antonio with Kate & Isaac; they have a son, Pierson who is 18 months old. He and Claire met for the first time. I think they will be pretty good buds in the future. She loved swinging in Pierson's swing so I guess that will be our next investment...

Feasting on cereal...

We introduced Claire to rice cereal last week and she LOVED it! Of course it was more fun for the two of us to watch... She would pull on the spoon and lean forward for her next bite! Since then she has become so interested in what is on our plates or in our glasses. Another few weeks and we will introduce some solids!

We "vacationed" at Mimi & Grampa's house this weekend in Conroe. Claire is turning into a little water bug. The pool water was so warm I'm sure she wondered why she was getting so many baths... It was nice and relaxing for us all.

4 Months!

Claire is a pretty happy baby most of the time. She's started to laugh and it's our quest to make her giggle. She loves when we blow raspberries on her belly; that usually gets a laugh. She's in her screeching phase and loves to "talk".

Claire hung out with her friends Bo (tu) and Caleb (Aggie) this week; she looks good in green but I think she definitely sways towards the maroon... Both of Caleb's parents went to A&M and Bo lives in a divided household (A&M v tu) as do Claire's (A&M v Baylor). I guess we have a few years before she has to decide!

Claire's Dedication was this past Sunday. There were so many kiddos being dedicated, probably about 40 or so!! She got a little fussy at the end but overall did pretty well! Grampa, Mimi, and Aunt Kathy came to watch.


She looked so cute in her pink and brown dress with the ruffles underneath. And her little brown patent leather shoes topped it off. She was a perfect little lady

Claire's first professional photo shoot. Claire spent the morning with her mom and a good friend working diligently to snap a few lasting photos! We walked away with a few keepers.
